When I build your site, I also look after its maintenance. I keep it running, apply security updates, back it up every night and tell you each month what happened on your site. Hosting costs 29 €/month, and I bill a year at a time.

What the monthly fee includes
A site needs looking after once it is finished, too. These six things are in the monthly fee, and each one says what it means for you.
Hosting and a secure connection
Your site runs on a server I look after. It opens over a secure https connection, so browsers never warn your visitors about an insecure site.
Security updates
I update the software behind your site when security fixes come out. You never have to keep track of what needs updating.
A backup every night
The texts and images of your site are backed up every night. If something breaks or goes missing, the site is restored to how it was the night before.
A report every month
Once a month you get a report: how many visitors your site had, which pages were read most and how many calls and enquiries came through the site. You see whether the site is doing its job.
Help on WhatsApp and email
When something about your site puzzles you, send me a message. You talk directly to the person who built your site.
Your own login to the admin panel
You change the texts and images yourself as often as you like. Opening hours, prices and new photos are yours to update without me, and it costs nothing.

When you want something new on the site, such as a service page or a section, I build it for you. It is optional, and the work costs 50 €/hour.
What stays yours
Maintenance does not tie your address, your email or your content to me.
- The domain is in your name, and you pay for it directly to the registrar. I only point it at your site.
- Your email stays with your current provider. I do not move it or manage it.
- The texts and images are yours. If you leave, you get them within 14 days.
- You can have the code of your site on GitHub if you want it. The server stays with me for as long as you are my client.
Price and terms
Hosting costs 29 €/month per site. I bill a year at a time, and the first invoice comes when the site goes live. If you would rather pay monthly, that works too.
Terms of the agreement
- The agreement runs until further notice, with one month's notice.
- I do not refund time paid in advance.
- I give notice of a price change 60 days in advance.
- I write the terms into the same agreement as the price of the site.

I only maintain sites I have built myself. That way the code and the server of each site are in my hands, and I can keep them in shape. If you already have a site, a free demo shows you what a new one would look like.

What does 29 €/month include?

Do I have to pay for hosting a year at a time?
I bill a year at a time, because then you get one invoice a year instead of twelve. If you would rather pay monthly, that works too.

Changing texts and images costs nothing, because you do it yourself in the admin panel. When you want something new, such as a new page or a section, I build it for you, and the work costs 50 €/hour.
Do you look after my email too?
No. Your email stays with your current provider, and you read your mail as before. Maintenance covers only the site.
What if something goes missing from the site?
I back up your site every night. If something breaks or goes missing, tell me, and I restore the site to how it was the night before.
Can I stop?
Yes. The agreement runs until further notice, with one month's notice. I do not refund time paid in advance. When you leave, you get the texts and images of your site within 14 days, and the code on GitHub if you want it.
Is SEO part of maintenance?
Basic SEO is included in the price of every site. Monthly SEO work is a service of its own, 190 €/month, and it is optional.
